Butterfly Garden
As lead content developer for this exhibition, I developed the educational goals, wrote the content outline, sourced and licensed media, planned many of the exhibit components, supervised junior content developers, and worked closely with graphic and 3D designers in developing means to present the content.
Beyond the X-Ray
For this exhibition about medical imaging, I developed the content for a cluster of components about breast imaging. The components incorporated text, images, and four multimedia patient stories.
- Carolyn's Story (QuickTime, coming soon)
- Label text, as web page or PDF (623k)
The Invention of the Charge Coupled Device (CCD)
After researching and writing about the history of the CCD, I worked closely with the graphic designer to develop a visually "hyperlinked" presentation of the information.
Playing by the Rules: Fish, Fads, and Fireflies
As a content developer for this exhibition, I worked on improvements to the interface for the well known Virtual FishTank, created computer simulations for use in the exhibit, and wrote label text.
ComputerPlace
As Program Manager of this exhibit/program space at the Museum of Science, I hired, trained, and supervised staff and volunteers; developed and presented interpretive demonstrations; and wrote and edited instructions for computer software and for hands-on activities
